Members of Local 369 who work for Macdonald Youth Services Northern/Alternative Parent Home Program have ratified a new three-year contract.
Following months at the bargaining table, they recently reached a tentative deal with the employer, which included a new personal leave policy and mileage rate reimbursements in line with the Provincial government’s Master contract. With the agreement now ratified, members will receive a signing bonus as well as 2.75% wage increases in each of the final two years of the contract.
The new collective agreement will be in effect from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2014.
