THE KEN HILDAHL MEMORIAL AWARD - ($2,000)

The Ken Hildahl Memorial Award is awarded annually to enable an active member (dues paying, in good standing with a signed membership application as of May 15th of the current year) to attend a seminar, course or conference in order to further their knowledge in worker pension governance issues.

THE PETER OLFERT SCHOLARSHIP - ($2,000)

The Peter Olfert Scholarship is available to an individual studying in a field that potentially impacts public policy (i.e. legislation, programs and services) including, but not restricted to, workplace safety and health, the environment, human rights, community economic development and the role of government and the public sector. Any registered, dues-paying member, or spouse of a member, or child or ward of a member, is eligible.

THE JOSEPH GRENIER BURSARY - ($1,500)

The MGEU has established this bursary in honour of Joseph Grenier, a past member of the Health Care Support Services (HCSS) Component. The bursary is available to a member of the MGEU's HCSS Component or their spouse/common-law partner or child (or minor under their care).
