MPI’s elected union bargaining representatives were working hard to achieve improvements to the MPI contract since April. The committee felt they were making headway in a number of key areas and in the last bargaining session, the employer tabled a package – stating everything they were prepared to offer was on the table.
What does this mean for MPI members?
It’s time for MPI members to have their say by casting their ballot. The MGEU is currently preparing information packages, with additional details on the offer and how to cast a ballot. This package will be mailed in the next week to all members who have provided the union with their home mailing address. Update your contact information.
Voting will take place October 9 - 25 at 16 locations around the province.
