Late in the day on Friday, June 22nd, 2012 the Southeast Personal Care Home bargaining committee (Local 386) reached a tentative first agreement with the employer.
The bargaining committee will now move to prepare a ratification document and will be scheduling ratification meetings for Monday, July 9th in the Board Room at Southeast Personal Care Home. Meeting notices will be mailed out early next week with more details.
In the meantime, members of Local 386 are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once available.
