Brandon University (Local 135) bargaining representatives have reached a tentative 4 year agreement with management.
While there are a number of areas the bargaining committee would like to have seen management more willing to move on, they fully believe that this is the best agreement that can be presented to the members during this round of negotiations. Therefore the committee is recommending acceptance of this tentative agreement.
All Brandon University members will be receiving a ratification package in the mail shortly. The package includes highlights of the new agreement, ratification voting schedule, a ballot and a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Informational sessions - where members can vote, ask questions and learn more about the proposed contract - are scheduled as follows:

How to Cast Your Ballot
• Brandon University members can vote by bringing in their ballot when attending one of the meetings and depositing it in a ballot box, or by mail.
• If you plan to vote at a meeting, you must bring your ballot with you. You WILL NOT be issued any other ballot than the one enclosed.
• All ballots mailed in must be received at the Winnipeg MGEU office by 4:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2012.
NOTE: When registering to vote, please ensure you have your membership card or other identification with you.
