On July 16th, several MGEU members took up Habitat for Humanity's Adopt-a-Day Challenge.

The challenge provides a fabulous team building experience and gives each member a sense of pride for their accomplishments while helping the community.

Several local businesses and groups accept Habitat's Adopt-a-Day Challenge by providing volunteers (a minimum of six participants) to build for a day (no building experience required).

To participate, organizations are encouraged to either pay or have their staff fundraise. Many businesses consider inviting clients, or staff's families (minimum 16 years of age) to be part of their team.

Each year more and more groups discover a passion for Habitat for Humanity and return the following year.
