MGEU members from Osborne House (Local 160) ratified a new collective agreement last night.

The new agreement provides improvements to vacation and bereavement leave as well as wages.

In 2011, members received a 1.5% general wage increase (GWI) in February and another 2.5% GWI in April.

In 2012 and 2013 the agreement includes a 2.5% GWI in each year, and under certain circumstances the Union will have the option to extend the Collective Agreement by one year in both 2014 and 2015 and accept a 2.5% GWI in those years.

The agreement must now be finalized and signed before it can be printed and distributed to Local 160 members.
