Members from the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba ratified a four-year contract last night (effective March 21, 2010 – March 29, 2014).

The contract includes a 5.8% general wage increase over the four years, as well as special wage adjustments for RCWs, a new classification for Cook 3s, and harmonizing one classification for PEC/CAW2/RC2 with a new six-step wage scale in 2013.

The agreement also includes new language for workers transferring on a trial period to another position or moving to a new classification as well as increases to benefits (such as the health spending account).

Read the highlight sheet for additional details on the contract.

The MGEU is now working with the employer to finalize and sign the agreement before it can be printed and distributed to members.
