Winnipeg paramedics are once again kicking off National EMS week (May 15 - May 21) with the EMS Bike Ride in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

The ride starts at 10 AM on Sunday, May 15th at Assiniboine Park, and everyone is welcome to participate ($30 for adults, $15 for children under 12 years of age, kids in chariots, trailers or child seats are free).

The PACERs bicycle paramedics will be on hand along with a Winnipeg Ambulance and the Winnipeg Major Incident Response Vehicle for families to check out.

All net proceeds from the ride will be donated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (tax receipts are issued for pledges over $20).
