After ten meetings, in three of the five Regional Health Authorities, Technical Professional Paramedical membership has given their Bargaining Committee a strong strike mandate. The Bargaining Committee will now concentrate on completing the Essential Services Agreements in each region.
Four more bargaining sessions have been scheduled with the employer on March 23 & 24 and April 11 & 12 to continue to bargain on the members' behalf.
The Bargaining Committee will continue in its goal to bring out an offer to the membership that they will be able to recommend.
Members of the Technical Professional Paramedical Component include a wide range of health care professionals, including paramedics, ultrasound, EKG and lab technologists, pharmacists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and case coordinators.
