Luke Fritz was chosen by the CFL, to represent the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL Pepsi Refresh Challenge. Fans voted daily for Luke, which brought him to the final round. It’s now the Winnipeg Blue Bombers against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, as the top 2 left, where only one will win the $50,000 for their charity of choice.

Luke has chosen Hunger for Hope as his charity of choice, which aims to raise over $100,000 per year for Winnipeg Harvest, to feed hungry infants and babies in Manitoba. Hunger for Hope's goal is to exceed the $100,000 per year and create an endowment fund that puts an end to child hunger by 2015.

With the Pepsi Refresh Challenge and the possibility of $50,000 extra this year – they are that much closer to their goal and the MGEU is on board to help.

The union is encouraging its members to vote 3 times per day – per computer (please respect all employers' computer usage policies) at  www.cfl.ca/pepsirefresh for Luke Fritz.

The final day to vote is November 24th at 9am.

A trip to the 2010 Grey Cup in Edmonton is available for one lucky winner who shares the link to vote on Twitter or Facebook, so please pass this on to everyone you know, encouraging them to vote and be a part of history in the making – as we end child hunger in Manitoba!
