Recently the programs and staff at the Manitoba Developmental Centre (MDC) were given a rating of 98% by the Council on Accreditation recognizing outstanding service to clients. The Council on Accreditation is an independent, non-profit rating agency that accredits facilities providing services to people with developmental disabilities.

To help get the word out about this important designation and to say thanks and congratulations for doing such great work in delivering services to people with developmental disabilities, the MGEU is launching a radio ad campaign.

“The recognition that these programs have received underscores the important services our members provide at MDC every day,” said MGEU President Peter Olfert. “We hope this ad campaign will help get the word out so that other Manitobans can hear about the great work our members are doing for MDC clients and their families.”

The advertisements will run from Monday through Friday for the next week (March 22-26), then resume for two weeks beginning April 5th.
