Every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood - whether it’s used to treat an accident, a surgery or a transplant. A blood donation only takes about an hour and can save up to three lives.

The MGEU has been a proud supporter of several blood donation drives throughout the province for many years. Many mobile donor clinics are taking place in Manitoba this fall, so if you’re a healthy person between the ages of 17 and 71 (regular donor), or between 17 and 61 (first-time donor) be sure to visit one and give the gift of life:
