Members of SPIKE (Supporting People’s Independence Knowledge & Empowerment Inc.) - Local 266, who provide permanent and respite care to Winnipeggers living with developmental and/ or physical disabilities, ratified a new three-year agreement this week.
Highlights include a general wage increase and improvements to the overnight rate and long service pay.
The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not
yet signed a membership application form to contact the
MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the
collective agreement once it’s printed.
