The MGEU is pleased to announce that applications for the 2021 MGEU educational scholarships and bursaries are now being accepted.
Each year, the MGEU makes nearly $30,000 available in scholarships and bursaries to help members pursue an education and upgrade their skills. Sixteen bursaries are available based on financial need, with two bursaries available in each of the MGEU’s eight geographically-defined Areas: one to an MGEU member and one to a spouse/common-law partner, child or ward of an MGEU member. As well, the Joseph Grenier Bursary is available to an MGEU health care member in the HCSS Component (or spouse/common-law partner or child pursuing a health care profession)
Scholarships are also available, including the Ken Hildahl Memorial Award and the Peter Olfert Scholarship.
