Members of the Manitoba Horse Racing Commission (MHRC) – Local 146 ratified a new two-year agreement today.

Expiring after the upcoming racing season, the new contract includes a salary schedule “me too” Memorandum of Agreement that will provide for wage increases matching those which may be achieved for the Civil Service. Given the government's previous decision to abolish the MHRC and roll all responsibilities into the Liquor and Gaming Commission, the agreement also includes devolution and transfer of service provisions.
