Members of Assiniboine Early Learning Centre - Local 445, who provide quality childcare for over 50 children at the Assiniboine Community College campus in Brandon, voted to ratify a new collective agreement yesterday. 

Highlights of the agreement, which is effective January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023, include wage increases in all classifications as well as improvements to on-call pay and more flexible family-related leave. 

The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the collective agreement once it’s printed.
