Members of YWCA Thompson Residence Inc. ratify new agreement

Members of YWCA Thompson Residence Inc. - Local 179, who provide a range of services, including housekeeping and cooking, for those who require daily or long-term safe housing in Thompson, voted to ratify a new three-year collective agreement on August 28, 2020.

Highlights of the agreement include wage increases and improvements to personal leave.

The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the collective agreement once it’s printed.
