At the MGEU Convention held this October, the union’s Equity and Human Rights Committee will once again honour the efforts of a past or present member by presenting them with the MGEU Humanitarian Award.
The award recognizes members’ everyday humanitarian acts – from a single event to a lifetime of generosity. Examples of such acts include, but are not limited to: lobbying for change, initiating positive changes in the workplace, showing support for fellow members, organizing humanitarian events, mentoring, or volunteering for a worthy cause/organization.
