Starting November 13 (for the next 2-3 weeks), the MGEU will be undertaking the annual survey of its membership. Viewpoints Research, a professional public opinion research company, is carrying out the study to determine members’ attitudes towards their union and a number of crucial issues facing those in the public sector.
Survey participants will be selected randomly by computer. Any member of the MGEU that is asked to participate will be contacted by phone and information collected for the survey will be kept personal and anonymous. Survey results will be used by MGEU leadership to make policy decisions and to make decisions in the best interests of the members.
