Members of Sara Riel - Local 353, who provide programs and services in a community-based setting to adults experiencing mental health concerns, ratified a one-year agreement yesterday.
Highlights of the agreement include a wage adjustment for the
majority of members and paid income protection for a small group who didn’t
have that before, as well as the
introduction of paid breaks for short shifts and two personal leave days.
Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their collective agreement.
