The MGEU forwarded an update from Robert Pruden, the Bill 29 Commissioner responsible for conducting the health care representation votes, to all MGEU members involved in the votes today.

The update, which answered some of the basic questions many members have been asking about the Health Sector Bargaining Unit Review Act and its implications in their workplaces, did not include any information about how and when the votes will proceed.

“Dealing with so many unknowns continues to be frustrating for all involved,” said MGEU President Michelle Gawronsky."I want to assure all of our members who be will be impacted by the upcoming union representation votes that we've been working hard to keep them posted and will send another update as soon as the Commissioner makes us aware of any decisions."
