The MGEU is bringing a powerful, award-winning ad about health care professionals back to airwaves this summer. “Woke” tells the story of a man’s recovery from brain trauma and how so many health care professionals – including paramedics, ultrasound, EKG and lab technologists, pharmacists, speech pathologists and occupational therapists – were vital to his survival.

With so many cuts to Manitoba’s health care system over the last several months, the ad is a timely reminder about the importance of the people delivering our care – on the frontlines and behind the scenes. They are all key parts of a system that ensures Manitobans receive the health care they expect and deserve.

Starting today, the ad will be running online over the next four weeks.
