The Apprenticeship Manitoba Awards of Distinction Gala Dinner was held on Thursday, November 3, at the RBC Convention Centre.
Yet again, the MGEU was fortunate to have a member recognized for excellence in their area of expertise. Lawrence Grimeau, a plumber from Assiniboine Community College, took home the Instructor of the Year Award. As written in the evening’s program, “Lawrence instills confidence and pride in his students and draws on his experience in the field to encourage students to be their best.”
The MGEU extends its congratulations to Lawrence and to all of last night’s winners on their awards.
