Employer for IERHA Technical Professional Paramedical (EMS) agrees to head back to bargaining table

The MGEU was contacted today by representatives of the employer for IERHA Technical Professional Paramedical (EMS) Locals 411 and 418.

"They have finally agreed to our request to return to the bargaining table," said Michelle Gawronsky, MGEU President. "This is a very significant step, but the hard work is done at the table. We need the employer and the government to deal with the issues we've raised, including fatigue and recruitment and retention, if we are to avert a strike."

The Union is currently working to finalize dates to return to the bargaining table.
