The MGEU is pleased to announce the 2016 winners
of $20,000 in MGEU
educational bursaries.
“It’s my great pleasure to congratulate all of this year’s successful applicants,” said MGEU President Michelle Gawronsky. “Our union is about building a better life for our members and their families and these bursaries give people the chance to pursue an education and upgrade their skills.”

Each year, sixteen bursaries are
awarded based on financial need. Two bursaries are available in each of the
MGEU’s eight geographically-defined Areas: one $1,000 bursary for an MGEU
member and one $1,500 for a spouse/common-law partner, child or ward of an MGEU
member.
