MGEU Local 430, Impark Patrollers, has ratified a first collective agreement, February 26, 2015 (date of certification) until April 30, 2016.
The new agreement defines hours of work, the grievance procedure, working conditions and respectful workplace procedures.
Other contract improvements include wage increases, an on-call premium, evening shift premium, footwear allowance, training allowance, and personal absence days.
The MGEU will now be working with the employer to finalize the agreement in order to get the contract signed, printed and into members' hands as soon as possible.
In the meantime, Local 430 members are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once available.
