Know anyone who is 18 to 32 years old and interested in bringing progressive change to their community? The MGEU is sponsoring a leadership training program to develop and inspire the next generation of progressive leaders and the deadline is October 13, 2015!

Next Up was created by a community of people who wanted to help emerging leaders develop new and better skills, smarts and ideas. Over seven months, this intense program dives into a number of topics and disciplines, combining theory, practice, deep thinking, and hard skills. Program participants will look at some of the most pressing Canadian policy issues facing the country and how change is made in society. And they’ll meet some of the most innovative change-makers in our cities — from the non-profit, labour, business and public sectors — who are working for a better world.

If you know (or you are!) a young Manitoban who is looking for an exciting opportunity to learn how to put their beliefs into action, please encourage them to find out more or register at www.nextup.ca
