The majority of approximately three hundred members of Manitoba Lotteries Food and Beverage (Local 260), voted to ratify a new five-year collective agreement today.

Improvements to the agreement include a 2% wage increase in each year of the agreement, an increase to the safety footwear allowance, and improvements to vacation and family leave. Other highlights include a retiree health spending account, the ability to carryover vacation credits to retirement, and an improved benefit package, which will be implemented in January 2016.

Representatives from the MGEU will now work at getting the agreement finalized and signed, before it's printed and distributed to members. Local 260 members are encouraged to update their contact information here to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract.
