Prairie Mountain Health Care Support (PMHCS) workers are rallying today in Dauphin and Friday, June 12 in Brandon against unhealthy workplaces.

These MGEU members provide life-giving care for our most vulnerable neighbours and family members. But right now, morale in 30+ health care facilities is at an all-time low.

Serious safety concerns and staff shortages have left thousands of workers worried for themselves and the people they care for.

The usual mechanism that these members use to address their concerns – grievances, labour/management meetings and health committees – have so far failed to improve the situation.

The MGEU is staging rallies in the following Prairie Mountain locations to have members’ voices heard. Please join us and help send the message that these vital workers deserve to be recognized and respected.
