The Day of Mourning is Canada’s national day to honour all those killed or injured on the job. Every year on April 28, the labour movement hosts events to remember these workers and to reaffirm our resolve to work for safe and healthy workplaces. Here's what is happening around the province this year:

March starts at 1:00 p.m. at the MGEU Office (322 Main Street), stops at the Provincial Court House and then returns to the MGEU Office. Refreshments to follow.
