Members of the HCSS Central Bargaining Table have now all voted on the tentative agreement their Bargaining Committee reached with the employer.
Eighteen votes (in dozens of facilities) were held over several weeks throughout the province.
Fifteen groups voted to accept the tentative agreement, while three ? Prairie Mountain HCSS, Interlake Eastern HCSS, and Dr. Gendreau ? voted to reject it.
New rates and retroactive pay for members of the fifteen Locals who accepted the offer will be processed in the new year.
In the meantime, the union has requested that the employer return to the table to continue discussions.
