Art worked as a jail supervisor at the Manitoba Youth Centre, where he was both respected and admired for his fairness and belief that in all people there was goodness and grace. Art was also respected in the labour movement–serving three terms as the Manitoba Government Employees Association’s 1st Vice President. He will be remembered as a man of integrity and principle.
