Every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood - whether it’s used to treat an accident, a surgery or a transplant. A blood donation only takes about an hour and can save up to three lives.

The MGEU has been a proud supporter of several blood donation drives throughout the province for many years including the autumn clinic in Dauphin for over a decade. 

This year, the Dauphin Blood Donor Clinic was held on November 4th and 5th. Approximately 90 donors were expected over the two half days and after the first day alone, the clinic had over 160 donors.

If you’re a healthy person between the ages of 17 and 71 (regular donor), or between 17 and 61 (first-time donor) be sure to find a clinic and give the gift of life:
