The perfect day for a picnic in the park

What could be better than a beautiful day in the park? How about a beautiful day in the park with friends and family?

Yesterday, the MGEU hosted a picnic at Assiniboine Park for members of Local 113 - WRHA Home Care/Home Support.

About 125 members were treated to a beautiful September day to enjoy hot dogs, drinks, prizes and hanging out with their fellow MGEU members and families.

“It’s great to see so many people out on a Sunday having fun together with their families,” said MGEU President Michelle Gawronsky. “I applaud the Local for taking this on and a big thanks to [MGEU staff member] Gay Pagan for her hard work in helping make this happen.”
