The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA) in  Manitoba is looking for digital cameras to be used by youth for this year’s State of the Inner City Report.

Youth will be taking photos as part of a photovoice research project with the Community Education Development Association (CEDA) Pathways and the Spence Neighbourhood Association (SNA).

What is the State of the Inner City report?

This annual report is guided by community-based organizations in Winnipeg’s inner city to highlight social and economic challenges faced by those living in the inner city and the community-based organization committed to serving them.

This year CCPA is working with youth at CEDA Pathways and SNA to learn what youth think should be done to improve the lives of young people, families and the community.

Digital cameras can be dropped off by Oct 4:

CEDA Pathways @ 470 Stella Ave,

Spence Neighbourhood Association @ 430 Langside

CCPA MB @ 3rd floor 323 Portage
