Members from the St.Amant Inc. Community Residential Program, Local 178 ratified a four-year agreement last night. (effective April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2014).
The agreement includes a 5.8% general wage increase along with a number of changes to the current contract language.
The agreement also includes changes to, and the addition of, several articles dealing with term and casual employment, compassionate leave, as well as mileage rates.

Representatives from the MGEU will now work at getting the agreement finalized and signed, before it’s printed and distributed to members. Local 178 members are encouraged to update their contact information here or by calling the Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract.
