LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
The MB Ombudsman - Local 457 Bargaining Committee began negotiations with the employer in October 2022.
By March of 2023, very little meaningful progress towards an agreement had been made, so the Bargaining Committee applied for a third-party conciliator.
In April 2023, the two sides resumed negotiations with the aid of the conciliator and were able to work through a number of articles with his assistance.
Negotiations resumed in August 2023. The Bargaining Committee is hopeful progress will continue.
