LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
Members of Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation - Local 354 exchanged proposals with the employer on Monday August 28, 2023 and neogtiations continued on September 25 and 26, 2023.
The two sides are currently working through non-monetary items like working conditions and contract language. Negotiations continued on October 25, 26 and 27, 2023.
Further dates have been scheduled for November 20 and 22 and December 11 through 15, 2023.
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation - Local 354 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement at a proposal meeting on March 23, 2023.
The Bargaining Committee then worked to pull together these proposals into a package and requested dates from the employer to begin negotiations.
