LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
Negotiations between the Knowles Centre - Local 172 Bargaining Committee and the employer had been put on hold while the employer sought and confirmed program funding.
The two sides exchanged proposal packages on Thursday, Thursday, March 16, 2023.
Negotiations resumed at the end of August and continued into October and November 2023. Please stay tuned for when further bargaining dates are scheduled.
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of Knowles Centre - Local 172 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement at a meeting on December 9, 2021.
The Bargaining Committee then worked to pull together these proposals into a package to present to the employer.
